Project overview
De Kinderboekendealer (“The Children’s Book Dealer”) is a Dutch initiative dedicated to bringing inspiring children’s books directly to readers in a fresh and personal way. For this project I was asked to create a complete visual identity that captures the joy and imagination of children’s literature.

My role
I designed the logo, a series of playful illustrations, and the striking bus livery that turns the company’s vehicle into a rolling ambassador for books. My focus was on creating a look that feels approachable, cheerful, and full of character — a visual language that children, parents, and educators immediately connect with. From small details in the illustrations to the large-scale graphics on the bus, every element was designed to celebrate storytelling and spark curiosity.

Result
The cohesive identity helped De Kinderboekendealer stand out as both professional and whimsical, reinforcing its mission of making children’s books more visible and accessible. The illustrated bus became an eye-catching presence on the road, while the logo and supporting artwork established a strong, recognizable brand.
