Project goal
For this special picture book, I created the full illustration series as well as the graphic design. Prince Seeks Prince is a modern fairy tale about love in all its forms — aimed at young children and their parents. The book provides inclusive representation in a gentle, playful tone.

My approach
I chose a colorful and soft visual style, with fairytale-like elements and a strong focus on body language and emotional expression. The illustrations support the story without overpowering it, creating a world where every child feels seen and welcome. In addition to illustrating, I also designed the layout and typography for the book.

Result & reception
The book was warmly received by readers and media, and was widely distributed through Dutch bookstores. Many parents and educators praised its accessible storytelling and inclusive message.
